YES!
Many women with diabetes choose to start families the old fashion way, through pregnancy. Although many women decide to just "let it happen when it happens", women with diabetes should ideally plan their pregnancies. Meaning, having talks with their provider (s) regarding things they can do pre-pregnancy to better ensure a safe pregnancy.
